PS: I got confused when I posted this thread and I left out the most important part! Costanza ended up going to prison for adultery. She was eventually bailed out by her husband. When he died, she inherited his art dealership and ultimately became a wealthy art dealer in her own right. #art #bernini

4. I will leave the nuances of the actual sculpture for the experts, but standing in front of the sculpture, alone in this small corner of the museum, she was breathtaking. The detail was amazing, and she felt real, as if she was staring back at me.

She was born in Viterbo, Italy. She was literate, well educated, and lived in Rome for most of her life.
