I haven’t been out #mudlarking as much as I’d like recently but it’s nearly the end of May so here are my #bestnine recent finds from the #ThamesForeshore
• clay pipe bowl with partial stem, 1700s
• blue paste bead, likely to have once been a Georgian gent’s collar stud #bling
• 18thC pewter button with triangle design, possibly Masonic link
• Victorian wooden hat block
• worked flint, either waste flake or used as a tool, Meso/Neolithic
• Dutch bale seal
• 17th/18thC trade beads
• Saxon bead?

Many people post collages of their #bestnine images on #Instagram, however I've decided to post something here on #Mastodon instead. These are the twelve #photooftheday #iphoneonly images that received the most likes on my @bravefrog Instagram account in each month of 2022. They are not necessarily my own favourites, or even my most memorable, but just the most popular as determined by a fairly diverse online audience. I wonder if anyone can guess which one of the twelve was the most "liked"?

Der Jahresrückblick bei Instagram kaschiert halt auch ganz gut, dass das letzte Jahr in vielerlei Hinsicht gar nicht so einfach war und auch einige Tränen vergossen wurden.

Dieses Jahr war viel los: Das #Homelab ist gewachsen, aber noch lange nicht fertig 😄. Es wurde gekocht und Mitte des Jahres gab's eine neue Arbeitsstelle, endlich wieder mit #TYPO3. Auch das erste #TYPO3camp wurde wieder besucht, #t3cm.

A year in a review with cycling and Cologne. Definitely thankful for 2022 which wasn't bad at all and looking forward an hopefully even more exciting 2023 with more km on my bike, some more tasting Kölsch and an thrilling product launch.

In the centre is #SavitaHalappanavar, who died of sepsis in Galway in 2012 when she was refused an abortion for an unviable pregnancy.

Her death gave focus to the pro-abortion campaign in Ireland, ultimately leading to the 2018 referendum that repealed the 8th amendment.

I drew Savita when #RoeVWade was overturned by #Dobbs in June.
