I finally "finished" a VR experience I have been working on, on and off, for years. I called it VR.Con.Sequence - Anybody out there who would like to beta test it? It was developed on Oculus Rift, but should run on other headsets as it is using OpenVR. Does require SteamVR.

Probably the last call for #betatesters before #memoryjoggler goes on the #appstore There’s a new build up on #testflight, and I believe it’s feature-complete now.

I didn’t expect to be doing a game this summer, but this thing grew organically out of something else I was working on. Everyone I’ve shown it to so far has liked it, so I’m opening up a #TestFlight for it. The game is called Memory Joggler and it’s meant to test your short term memory and focus.

Seriously though, getting the login flow set up for the app was a daunting task and was so far the hardest part of developing it. Smooth sailing from here on out! 🤞

Now I'm going to start on the core feature of the app: the algorithmic feed

I'll be looking for #betatesters (more like alpha) soon. Let me know if you would like to be one of the first to try it and help steer the direction of development😎

this is alpha service still, but if all things work out ok, it'll be offered as free (as-in-beer) service for friends/collectives.

Why did #gamers, as a community, just roll over and accept being charged the full price for an unfinished game to be granted the privilege of performing free labor as #BetaTesters? I get that smaller game devs can't always afford to pay enough people to do thorough testing, but that's literally never an excuse to charge people money to do it.
