Every Sunday I post an essay in a place called #Bewilderment. I write about, as the poet Frank Bidart put it, the fact that "being is making". I'm interested in how close attention to ordinary places and objects transforms our relationship to them, and in thinking about how that scales from looking at (for one example) plants around me to looking at the social, economic, and political structures/systems I live inside.
