I think these mid 1990’s #Beyerdynamic headphones are a good example of sustainable consumer product. I have fixed these already a few times and the spare parts are still available. I lost the left channel today and the problem was solved with two minutes of soldering. Great brand I’m going to stick with. 👍

Yesterday I noticed a noise on the #røde mic when I plugged the high impedance #beyerdynamic headset into the monitor output. The reason was the USB extension cable I used between the mac mini and desk cable hole. Now I plugged it directly into mac mini, and the sound is crystal clear.

Ich schleppe deswegen schon seit fast nen Jahrzehnt #HyperX (#Beyerdynamic) Headsets durch mein Leben weil die abnehmbaren Mikrofone, Klinkenkabel, und Ohrpolster simpel nach kaufbar sind. Ebenso bieten die Hersteller hauseigene Reparaturen für einen fairen Taler, könnte sich also langfristig lohnen.:)

Ja, der inneren Führungsring, mit der Einführkerbe lässt sich leicht raushebeln und mitsamt der dann übergezogenen Ohrpolsterung wieder einsetzten. Die innere Kerben zum Einsetzen des Rings sind nur am Kopfhörer schwer zu erkennen und die genaue Positionierung dauert ggfls. etwas länger als der eigentliche Tausch.
Beim Dt 770 Pro war es etwas einfacher, das selbe Prinzip am Dt-1770 führt aber nur zum Frust.
