#BeyondShadowgate takes place 35 years after the events of the original #Shadowgate. This gives the in-game timeframe a close correlation with the elapsed time since the release of the original on #NES

For Beyond Shadowgate, we decided to maintain the look of classic 8:7 aspect ratio for nostalgia and familiarity.
