One of the films we saw last night at #BFIFlare also had a BSL interpreter during the intro and Q&A session. I was quite surprised at how much I remembered of it.

Also, films were both super.

#BFIFlare is the kind of place I used to dream about as a baby queer.

Honestly I didn't ever think there would be a space that accepted me as both a queer person and a person who is obsessed with video games. I thought they were mutually exclusive.

As someone from the Southern United States something like this is so fucking amazing.

Like I thought the best I could ask for out of life was maybe just dying of poverty in extreme poverty and loneliness.

Which is actually still true but like getting to be part of a queer game arcade omg.
