It’s my #bfrpg night and we had a player come one board tonight who’d never played anything other than 5e. He LOVED it, and the session was nuts.

They got a random event that was nothing but color and latched on to it, which drove about half the session as they interacted with NPCs looking for more information.

Last night I got to amp up the tension in my #BFRPG campaign, all because the party’s actions and lack of follow up triggered some BAD things. #TTRPG

I've uploaded r14 of Beneath the Silver Spire which now includes a new section "Writing your own campaign around this adventure". Based on feedback, I am now explicitly stating some adventure hooks that I'd previously only embedded.

This could be an epic 7-part story, but that's not really where my heart is at. Rather than be a chef, I really want to make one great meal -- then provide GMs with tasty ingredients to make their own feast at home. https://trl.ca/btss

Got home a LOT earlier than I expected yesterday, so I was able to run an unscheduled session for my #BFRPG table. A couple folks couldn’t make it, so I created a quick side quest for the folks who were free on short notice. Got to make up a new creature, too, which was fun. It was the first game I ran in three weeks so it was so much fun! #TTRPG

Chrysogon's Coterie is still in queue for print, but was severely set back by the #BFRPG Project's switch from OGL to CC BY-SA in January. Vetting the Core Rules and adding loads of new art was pretty time consuming. And when Solo decided to re-release another 4 books under the new license, it set the timeline back further. HOWEVER, Chrysogon's Coterie has now been restored to the Project Priorities list, to be released alongside Terror in Tsosath, plus re-releases of JN1, JN2, SP1, and BF2.

Five rounds of fake #BFRPG covers is enough, I think. Thanks for the likes.

I can't say I'll ever grow to appreciate the black bar created by the new design, but it makes a statement. Solo has said he wasn't sure about it, but that it's growing on him.

I appreciate that he tried to do something he thought would be helpful, and released it as a surprise. Not all surprises are well-received. Lord knows I've surprised my wife with some things that weren't to her taste.

She's kept me anyway.
