August #BoardGame plays, thanks to #BGStatsApp

Nidaviller got a huge increase with its BGA adaptation. Canvas also debuted on BGA recently so I tried it out. I definitely like the physical version more.

And as usual, recent purchases have a good showing: Legacy of Yu, Fit to Print, Dustrunner, and Globetrotting.

We're halfway through the year and these are my #bgstats right now. Started off strong in January, February and March, but lost traction when the weather got better and we started playing #DnD again instead of boardgames on Wednesdays.
I'm missing some letters in the alphabet challenge, so I'm not sure if I get to fulfill that one.

The low #boardgame play count was mostly due to a road trip to the Pacific North West. I did have some #boardgames shipments incoming during my trip. Most folks know of the hold mail feature from #usps , I did also use #fedex vacation hold feature 👍
#ups can direct a shipment to a pickup location but beware that it is limited to basically a week before it should be returned to sender. It also costs money 👎

Little bit light on historical #wargames but lots of variety with 11 #boardgames played that are new to me. Got a few off the #ShelfOfShame in the process. The soon to be released 3-player semi co-op game Land and Freedom on the Spanish Civil War was the standout. So was the first #ConQuestVentura game day. Good times.

My #bgstats statistics for last month. 64 plays and 27 different games. Mostly lightweight games, but some heavier games like TM:AE too.
Made progress with my challenges.
I expect to play less frequently from now on, because spring is on its way and I'll soon be busy working in my vegetable garden.

I log the plays using the #bgg website, then import the info into #bgstatsapp. Other folks I know log the plays during a game using the app. I still use pen and paper. I find it less intrusive.

I tried another new-to-me corporation, AstroDrill. @fraser played Ecoline.

Our records suggest that F played with AstroDrill once & won then too. Ecoline has 3 wins for 7 plays.

The year of 2022 is not yet over and I have a clear front runner for my most played #boardgame. #BattlestarGalactica still delivers on tense and fun cylony gameplay after 14 years and over 850 plays. #sosayweall And I have never been a Cylon.
My other most played #boardgames are quick social multiplayer games. It’s much easier to rack up game plays of them tbh.
