I ask myself since a while, what it means to discuss bias and AI. I mean, there are thousands of biases embedded in human culture. For sure, many of them are problematic, but what happens, if we want to get rid of all of them by cleaning the AI training sets. Can there be a pure thing like an unbiased training set? Who has the power to define a problematic bias - not the obvious ones, but the difficult ones concerned for example with nonhuman actors?Wouldn't this just reproduce some kind of Victorian setup of superior, rational modernity, that would be for sure violent in its cleanliness? Clear is for me only - when the discussion is over and the filters are installed, the real problems will start to emerge...

Yup, totally clickbait title, but, still, an interesting analysis in the psychological hacks Jimmy uses to hook viewers: input bias (show how much effort you put into something), costly signaling (spend money to make money), the contrast effect and concept of juxtaposition, loss aversion, curiosity gap, etc.
