For players out there using a virtual amp or DAW instead of a real amp - what are you using? Can it do edge of breakup well? I’ve got (which I don’t like so far) and which I love but also acknowledge the audio fidelity is not as good as some others. I do like the variety of off the shelf sounds though.

I’ve been making some noises. Lots of fun with my guitar and then hammering out some basslines (and some dubious software synths) on a midi controller.

Next step: Find some words, sing them, and see/hear how that goes. But that leap is not for now.
