In societies where you might be ostracized by adoring Putin, nobody adoring Putin will participate in the poll, or they will lie if pressed. On the other hand, in the societies where you won’t get slapped on the hand and Putin is not an immediate danger/problem, only people who feel strongly will participate. #hypothesis #biasinthedata
