@dingemansemark I use #overleaf for writing, a web based #latex editor with no support for Zotero or Jabref directly. #overleaf is great to manage joint writing projects. There is a fee that allows you to collaborate with more than 3 people, but at #hhu we convinced the administration to buy a license for the whole university. I manage my references with #bibdesk and import my bib file into #overleaf. I manage my papers with the app #readcube, Mendeley is not supported by 🍎.

@perspektivbrocken Same setup here (literature in #BibDesk and writing either #Bear .md files or #Scrivener). In all cases #pandoc links citekeys in the document with the database and generates .pdf .docx etc with formatted bibliographies. Can highly recommend.

Any recommendations for managing reference when writing #markdown documents? I want to experiment a bit with writing in md documents and using git for versions management … But I am not 100% sure how to best deal with references (which I keep in #BibDesk + #Zotero).
Note 23.11.22: For now, using @zettlr with my BibTeX file seems the best solution for my purposes.
