To get an answer to my question about supporting images, I asked the developer of #Bibisco, Andrea Feccomandi, directly, and he has already answered me. :)

I had given as an example the use case of a fantasy novel to insert a map at the beginning of the book.

He said that the ability to add images is planned for the next version, as many people have asked for it.
The workaround at the moment would be to export from Bibisco (e.g. to .docx) and then insert the images in another tool.

Some insights from trying out #Bibisco for the first time:

- The tags help you assign characters, objects, etc. to each scene, giving you an overview of what appears where and when.

- The interview questions for the characters are very versatile and a great help when designing characters.

- I feel that the interface does not get in the way at all. Very tidy.

- Lots of helpful tools to organise and structure the text.

I'm going to take a closer look at #Bibisco tonight. Does anyone know any good tips for getting started or pitfalls to avoid?

Okay I just spent about thirty minutes using #bibisco to set up my short weird fiction tale. Good lord they're not kidding the tool is more for a novel than anything else.

Outlining characters and motivations is a lot of work considering all the questions provided by the program.

Well I fucked around a little bit with #bibisco and I'm a bit surprised by it. Even though what I was doing amounted to just shitposting.

@Plumy @leavt There are some apps that can help you organize your ideas and such.

Paid ones like #Scrivener and #bibisco (comes as a limited free app as well)

Free ones like #NovelWriter and #QuollWiriter

I personally like QuollWriter, but I might give the paid version of Bibisco a go as well.

Hey are any of my fellow #writers out there using #bibisco? I know the "standard" is #scrivener, but I am using linux and would like to use a linux native app. Scrivener does not seem willing to commit to their linux version... so....

Funciones de #Bibisco (en la versión gratuita) para organizar la #escritura: fichas de personajes, fichas de lugares, capítulos separados por escenas, etiquetas para las escenas (personajes que aparecen, POV, lugar, fecha), timeline de los sucesos, análisis de la distribución de personajes y lugares a lo largo del escrito...

Aunque la versión gratuita de #Bibisco cubre prácticamente todas las necesidades, incluye algunas funciones en la versión de pago que pueden resultar útiles (si escribes sobre magia, por ejemplo, las fichas de objetos solo están disponibles en esta). A pesar de lo cual, hacer un pago para apoyar el proyecto a cambio de una licencia de por vida (no esa mierda de software as a service que se lleva ahora) creo que merece la pena
