Again, BILLIONS of people feel they NEED their faiths. Banning their religious texts will solve nothing, it will only empower them more. Billions of people have copies of religious texts in their homes who own no other books. Are you going to raid people's homes, seize & burn those books? That would be a violation of their rights.

Establishing atheism as the govt religion would be unconstitutional.

I have three #Bibles-- one is over 125 years old and contains my family #Genealogy. I would not part with that one for the world.

Your hate of SOME religious PEOPLE manifests in an illogical belief that you can undo the faith of billions by merely banning the sale and sharing of certain papers WORLD-WIDE, tearing them from everyone's homes EVERYWHERE.

That is impractical, impossible, and illogical.

You are obsessing on a fantasy-- thereby having your own (hypocritical) delusions and baseless ideas of reality.

That is also not a matter for debate.

Religious texts have been used far more often to promote charity, kindness, civility, peace, justice (including social justice), and just plain LOVE for fellow human beings... than they have to promote terrorism.

Your logic still does not stand up to its own hypocrisy. Banning ANY ideology sets one above the other, makes the other a victim of persecution-- and historically, ALL religions flourish and GROW under persecution.

You might take away the paper copies, but those who have memorized the texts will continue the religions. (Read #RayBradbury's #Fahrenheit451 for an example of this.) Millions already have memorized most of these texts.

Most people need some kind of faith to give their lives purpose-- even if you don't. They WILL carry on their religions-- with even more fervor than before.

Banning #Bibles and #Qurans would have the opposite effect than what you desire.
