We just started school and we have to #commute 5km to get there and we are choosing pavement over dedicated #BicycleLanes. It’s just safer for the kid…🤷🏻♂️
To be honest, I don’t feel safe using them by myself either. I just didn’t have to commute for over 3 years and forgot how shitty the experience really is… #Cycling #Rower

#DC has been very actively adding protected #BicycleLanes to better protect #Cyclists, although arguably not enough or fast enough.
