Today, I got to ride my first ever gravel ride experience with my dear friend, fellow Saskatoon cyclist, and fellow comic book creator, Tim Brown.
It was a thrilling experience to ride on the Saskatchewan, Canada grid roads (unpaved gravel roads) and do so as a social with a good friend!

Of course, the irony here is that the #jogger, the #pedestrian and #bicyclist all offer clues to a piece of the solution. Improved #infrastructure to support #GreenTransport. In the post 1 if you look down the sidewalk you can see a utility pole right in the middle of it. In post #2 in the #sidewalk foreground, you can see it simply ends in a dirt trail. In post #3, at least there is a #crosswalk, but there are no protected #bikelanes.

When two motorists going opposite directions encounter each other, they genially work things out, with one or both motorists first carefully ensuring no #bicyclist is in the #ABL, and then moving over into the ABL to pass the oncoming car.

Inside West Suffolk's (UK) Maglia Rosso is the signed jersey from Graeme Obree's one-hour record in Oslo, a preserved Penny Farthing from the 1880s, and (what I think is) the owner's completion jersey from the LEJOG (Land's End to John O' Groats).

Finally got to ride with my Dad for the first time since we became roadies (road bike riders) independent of each other, myself in Canada, he back in rural England.
We rode on the winding, tight rural West Suffolk (UK) roads I grew up on and came of age on both hiking and riding in cars as a passenger.
We rode to the famous Maglia Rosso café.
