Bike lane on Valencia Street has been converted to a central lane. I imagine one benefit is to avoid the dreaded parked car door opening in your face, or cars cutting your lane turning? I'm completely surprised, btw - manuals are usually placed somewhere obvious, so when this one wasn't I doubted I'd find it. And I'm glad I started assembling today when it's snowing. I'll have time to both email for a pdf, and assembling the bike before it's biking weather.

That's a bummer! I can't find the assembly manual. Either I've accidentally thrown it away, or it was never added to the delivery. Normally I'd try to make do with online info - the manual itself is not available, but a lot of assembling videos of similar bikes. Also; thanks to you who suggested we crowdfund it! However, I woke up at 04.00 this morning - I'm not in a state for more than basic braining. Thread'll resume once I... zzzzz...

The 4th of those 4 connected Wisconsin trails on which I've ridden my #bicyle is the 400 State Trail between Elroy and Reedsburg, 22 miles of crushed limestone. When I last rode it on a particularly hot day, it was advantageous having a public shower at the Elroy trailhead. On my bucket list is to do a ride from my home in #RochMN to #Chicago and these 4 trails make that easier to plan as they get me nearly half way there.

Ma kann sagen was ma will, in seiner Einfachheit is Fahrradfahren immer noch die genialste Form der Mobilität. Mit ca 10-15 kg Fahrrad und a bissi Muskelkraft gelingt es, meinen dicken Hintern von A nach B zu transportieren. Ganz ohne Motor, Sprit, Lärm und Emissionen.
Einfach mal einsinken lassen und bei der nächsten Fahrt mit dem Drahtesel diesen Umstand genießen.
