Made a start on my #BigClive style #supercomputer. Drilling 60 holes after marking on the piece of laminated flooring was quite laborious. Will do the electronics another day.
I was originally going to purchase blue blinking LED's.
However, I do have a few hundred fast flashing RGB LED's in my supplies. Made a very small 3 x 4 LED mini super computer a few years ago and RGB LED's are a nice effect. The mini one also uses an LDR to only turn on in the dark. I may just use a switch on the big one.

@mia Blinky lights are important to me but running a server in your closet can be ... problematic. This may be a solution.

This morning’s excitement: finding a broken phone charger plugged into the socket under my train seat. Don’t touch this, bits of it are live at 240V. I called the train manager who turned off the sockets, removed the dodgy charger, and switched it all back on again.
