@bryankam If you like interdisciplinary research, big history is great! A good place to start is Fred Spier's Big History and the Future of Humanity (2015). If you're in for a challenge, David Christian's Maps of Time (2004) is great too. If you just want a quick overview I would recommend Christian's Origin Story (2018), or Walter Alvarez' A Most Improbable Journey for a geologist's approach to #bighistory
