Tale of two Seikos, my 1978 Pogue and the tribute watch issued in 2022. The tribute, on the right, came with a silver second hand. I asked a friend to swap it out with a red one, and think it makes all the difference ... it's how Seiko should have built it in the first place. #watchcollecting #bigseikolittledick

This is my Seiko Pogue, bought at the Vance AFB exchange in 1978 to celebrate my first fighter assignment. It has logged around 1,500 hours, most of them pulling Gs, and is still going strong. #bigseikolittledick #wristwatchobsession

I’ve always liked #wristwatches, but until a few years ago never owned more than two at once. Suddenly I have a collection … mostly automatics, a couple of quartzes. I wear them all. I’m wearing my oldest one, a Seiko Pogue, in the photo (taken in 1983). #bigseikolittledick
