The fourth day of my trekking adventure with my elder son (in 2018) was the toughest as we had to hike more than 16 km carrying our backpacks. Thankfully the weather was good and we managed to leave earlier this time! We hiked along the coast of Lake Nordenskjold and around Los Cuernos crossing a field of calafates. On the third day of our trekking adventure, my elder son and I had to hike about 14 km to reach another campsite. Exactly 4 years ago me and my elder son, just a few days before he turned 12, started a 5-day trekk in the Torres del Paine National Park. The Big W Circuit. After crossing the lake by boat and setting up our tent at Paine Grande, we walked south to see a stunning landscape (check an earlier post to see it). From the lake shore we could see Los Cuernos and Cerro Paine Grande.
