@sam @dr2chase This project is me fitting a GrinMAC hub motor into the #bikeFriday #tandem which is 3x8 and will have to be set slightly wider to 145mm OLD (iirc) 🤞 not trying to replace the worn-out drivetrain on the hub motor step (I do have a worn-out 10sp cassette + derailer that might fit the chain perfectly though 😆 ), hoping to ride it like that for a while until I figure out what the crank drive motor arrangement will be before buying new chainrings, cogs, pulleys, chain.

For #BikeFriday , (on Saturday) here's my ride. It's a Haibike Enduro, #ebike It's my 3rd ebike. The 1st two were 1000W, fat tires, with active suspensions. Great fun on easy terrain, but I needed A LOT more suspension!!! And this HaiBike has what *I* need. (If you need to land 40ft. jumps, you'll need more.)
The Haibike sacrifices a throttle and 30MPH top speeds, for lighter weight, long travel suspension and 29" wheels. It's pedal-assist only, and I'm just fine with that. Great 🇩🇪 bike!
