If you can’t #TakeTheLane take the #bus: 7th is one of the few #bikefriendly routes through LA. Sometimes blocked with parked vehicles and making the separated bike lanes feel like it was designed for the #righthook.

Just got back from a few days in #Philly, and reflecting on the bike experience there - Philly is only #bikefriendly because most streets are so narrow car speeds are limited by default. #BikeLanes have a nasty habit of disappearing when you need them most (10th St thru Chinatown), or switching sides of the road without notice (JFK Blvd). Overall...ok by US standards, but needs lots of improvement - 6/10. #BikeTooter

For Sunday morning's 🚲 ride, I stopped at #Dunkin 🍩.

Not for donuts. I stopped to tighten the kickstand. Bought it a little over a week ago and already it's gotten rusty, and it keeps getting loose. I applied some thread locker to it when i got home. Hopefully it won't come loose again, or break easily. But sometimes you just get what you pay for. 🤷‍♀️

Dunkin' was one of the few biz that got #BikeFriendly in early COVID days. 👍 #bikes #bicycles #cycling

There is no path to #sustainable cities in a sustainable world which doesn't include both making #PublicTransit free and making cities more #BikeFriendly and #PedestrianFriendly. Furthermore, making transit free will reduce private vehicle traffic, which will make it easier to make cities friendlier to bikes and peds. Every day we wait to make transit free is an unnecessary delay in achieving sustainability.

Still a long way to go before the #Philippines can consider itself #bikefriendly, but I’m pretty sure we’re getting there. Infrastructure’s taking shape, PH government only needs to double down on policy work. Major challenge now is the mindset shift for those who still give premium to car ownership and making them share the road with #cyclists 🚴‍♀️ 🚴🏽‍♀️ 🚴🏼‍♂️

I'm a huge fan of #procycling and riding my own #roadbike as often as I can. For me, the transformation of cities to be more #bikefriendly, is one of the key elements of the #ecosocialTransformation.
