Despite being very meticulous with my bikes, I had incorrectly routed the cable on my #Shimano front derailleur. I’m sharing as it is easily done and ruins how the chain should clear the inner plate, causing excessive interference.

Pic 1 - incorrectly routed cable has marked the outer plate of the linkage.

Pic 2 - now correctly routed cable.

I had no idea the reach can be adjusted this easily on my Shimano shifters. A small adjustment that can make a huge difference.

Dann gleich mal noch ne Frage an die #bikebubble. Diese "Scharten" im Freilaufkörper.... Sind die normal nach 10.000km oder liegt hier ein Fehler vor?

Question for the #bikebubble: are those notches in the freewheel body normal after riding the same drive train for approx. 10000km?
