Nice day for a #BikeRafting outing in #yeg. Nice to meet up with a couple of fellow #PaddlePedal folks.

Saw lots of wildlife, including a skunk on the way to the dock (in an urban area), a coyote trying to find its way to some cliff swallow nests, and a bald eagle near Riverdale.

Not sure yet if I'll be able to join, but thought I'd share for other folks who might be interested.

Going to try a bit of it this summer! Planning at least a couple of overnight trips.

One I'm planning to try involves #BikeRafting back home and camping out somewhere on one of the islands in the North Saskatchewan River, SW of #Edmonton.

I've seen a couple of people do this trip and it seems relatively easy and safe (aside from having to ride on some rural roads and secondary highways).

Being able to just hop and and go somewhere without all the layers, or worrying about snow and ice (*shoulder twitches*)

A lovely day for #bikerafting / #bike + #packrafting the #PotomacRiver around #HarpersFerry. The river is flowing very nicely and given the rapids, not much time for pausing to get action shots…
