Ende letzten Monats verkündete die HAVAG die Einrichtung eines #Bikesharing Systems in #Halle. Bis 2024 sollen 500-600 Räder an 60 Stationen zur Verfügung stehen. Start ist noch im Oktober diesen Jahres mit mehr als 400 Rädern. Vermarktet werden wird das System als multimodales Angebot ("movemix").

Das System schließt endlich eine offene Lücke im Mobilitätsangebot der Stadt. Abzuwarten bleibt die konkrete Umsetzung (Stationsdichte etc) und Verzahnung mit anderen Angeboten im ges. Stadtgebiet.

That app bombards you with notifications. And while the docking stations have become smaller and easier to install, it has become harder for tourists without a #Taiwan-ese phone number to rent and use a YouBike.
Last year in Kaohsiung I would not find any #YouBike station with a Kiosk service pillar that would allow for the use of a credit card. Plenty of those in Taichung and Taipei however.

Bad news: #Sherbrooke will in fact, not be getting their electric bike sharing fleet this year because the vendor, Bewegen, is on the verge of bankruptcy. The company also is way behind in delivering bikes to several other cities in Quebec. So the STS is relaunching a call for offers for an electric fleet for 2024.

Very disappointing. I’m not a particular fan of Bixi bikes but I mean, who else can we really call to get bikes?

I totally missed this press release last fall, but #Sherbrooke is going to have their first #bikesharing fleet this summer! 250 bikes from Bewegen, 200 electric and 50 mechanical. The bikes were designed by Quebec-famous industrial designer, Michel Dallaire, who also designed Montreal's Bixi. They're super cute! 🚲

Ein gutes Schloss muss es sein.

#Fahrrad immer an einen fixen Gegenstand sperren.

Es werden auch alte Räder gestohlen.

Gestohlene Räder werden hauptsächlich lokal weiterverkauft und wieder genutzt.

Wenn man Diebstähle nicht mit Rahmennummer bei der Polizei anzeigt, wird sich nix ändern.

#Fahrraddiebstahl ist eine Form von #Bikesharing.

Das #Sigfox Netzwerk scheint interessant zu sein. 🤓
