Some insight into how I make my bike guide videos (found these while doing some spring cleaning):
I print a Strava heatmap of the surrounding area, highlight the route, mark relevant connections, & then determine a timeline (post-it note). Here are maps I made for my Green Lake Outer Loop & Spokane St Bridge Detour guides

I've taken the advice of @ZeroEnigma and no longer ride without a camera.
Today I accidentally filmed my commute into #Manhattan as a timelapse. Looks good enough to share!
