This can be so very true. I took French in early 1980s as total immersion. We spoke French only, all day, and at night, I would call my wife at home and could not speak English suddenly, many words were not there. My mind had moved to thinking in French.

I like the Castillian symmetry of using "vosotros" for the informal plural you, but find the Colombian pronunciation of Spanish more natural. Can we mix and match a second language or will everyone just think I'm an idiot. #bilingual

Je trouve le jeu d'accent des enfants bilingues délicieux. Les miens (en français ils ont normalement un accent #francoOntarien plutôt léger) prennent souvent du thé simplement pour dire : « Ahveuc unnn nou-âge doux lé ».
