Oh neat! I wasn't sure if the old 68k could handle non-hand-assembly-optimized GUIs at all.
The original macs were at least half a decade ahead of their time, thanks largely to #BillAtkinson and his #QuickDraw.
You mean you can ssh -X to the mac and get a window on your local machine? Not too bad. I'd love to see it running natively, but I can't imagine how slow it must be :D
People don't remember just how hand-assembly-optimized *everything* in classic MacOS was. They had the very fastest graphics routines anywhere.
