The Chequers looking lovely on #TodaysWalk, as was the Blue Boar, with a nice display of petunias, but the building really doesn't justify a picture. #Billericay

It's nearly harvest. On #TodaysWalk I followed the path from #Billericay to #Hutton. Crossing the wheat field was almost devoid of creatures, just the odd beetle or spider. This field edges are better, with various insects and butterflies in particular.

The blackthorn is in bloom, not just in #NorseyWood, but all over #Billericay, a sure sign that spring is on the way. #TodaysWalk

#TodaysWalk was across town, so I took a picture of the terracing the ha so tidied up this tiny part of #Billericay. It should look great in spring and summer.
