Sports journalism for the campus paper was my bread and butter during my upperclassmen years at Saint Louis U - first as a sports writer my junior year, then as Sports Editor my senior year.

Tonight we got to see the VCU men's bball team clinch the #Atlantic10 regular season championship at the STU. They beat the #StLouis #Billikens 79-67. It was the last home game of the season (hopefully). There's one more away game and then they play at the #A10 tourney in #Brooklyn just before #selectionSunday ... At halftime the family of VCU legend Jabo Wilkins retired jersey #40. Two questions remain: (1) where did they get that trophy they hoisted after the game? (2) What the heck is a Billiken? #letsgoVCU #RVA

After jaredbusch62 snapped his great view, from behind the away bench on his left, the #Billikens will head to the foul line. That visit will give them a one point lead and the eventual win.

Saint Louis is 4th in the Atlantic-10 with 6 games left, 4 of which are at home.
