We have been pushing for real policy change.

This week we moved one step closer to that.

We have been fighting so that forced labour products,

Like those arising from the Uyghur concentration camps,

Cannot find their way into Canada.

That’s why we’ve been pushing for change - and that is why we are so close to seeing the passage of a bill banning forced labour.

Canada must not fail.

There is a bill in Parliament right now,

S-211,

That must be amended and passed to make sure we ban goods tainted by forced labour by the Uyghurs.

It's time to stop dragging our feet and pass S-211 with key amendments to prohibit any forced labour goods from the Uyghur concentration camps.
