I sent him a letter that started as a pro forma letter from Animals Australia that I had edited and added to myself. In particular, I always add my own perspective as a veterinarian.
Bill Tilley has form in failing to respond to constituents he doesn't agree with politically. He is not representing the people of Benambra, only the ones who happen to agree with Liberal policies.

Got an email from my local MLA, Bill Tilley today in response to an email asking him to ban duck hunting:

Dear Janette,

We have noted your email, we have received numerous emails with the exact same wording. It is not our policy to respond to automatically generated emails and do not expect a reply in the future.
The decision is at the behest of the Labor Government so please address your concerns to the Minister for the Environment.
