It said that #BillViola is the video artist for those who don't really like #videoart

Some years ago we were in #Florence when a major exhibition of his work was on at The Strozzi & knowing nothing we went for a look; we were completely blown away.

What appeals to me about Viola's work (what may put others off) is there is no attempt to deny facility or technique; his later work is highly technically accomplished, which perhaps is the 'problem' for some critics?
