@plants It will become part of my #BiodiversityShrines but I haven't decided yet, how.
Because the working time alone is enormous and real mosses are valuable, I could imagine a baroque gold frame. Or I could mount it on 200 yrs old oak bark.
If you want to frame 3D #embroidery normally - there are special, deeper #frames for that. And you need non-reflecting glass. I have used such here, for example (you can get flatter frames, too):

Minus 10°C in the #naturepark #VosgesDuNord, grey fog swallows up the white landscape and the birds are miserably hungry. I already fill the feeders a couple of times a day.

Preparations for my #embroidered #mossgarden which will be mounted into an open wooden box (from cheese). I marked the size for #stitching with a thread. For a stronger relief effect I sewed on thick #felt. Afterwards, these colours will be invisible. Now I #embroider #FrenchKnots with #gradientYarn, as irregularly as possible, for a more natural look. My new project for the #embroidery club of our #heritagecentre - #stitching #moss and #lichen. I never made it before, it's an experiment for my #BiodiversityShrines.
I am collecting materials, checking them, getting ideas. The olive-green #fleece could be a good background. It's a scrap from an old shirt. There's silk #waste from machines. #upcycling #NatureArt
