That #FieldMuseum @BionomiaTrack dataset I was working on is now at 40%. That is, in #Bionomia 40% of the specimens in that dataset are now linked to either the #ORCID or the #Wikidata item for the collector or determiner of those specimens. It's now up to the FieldMuseum to decide whether they want to make use of that linking. #LinkedOpenData

Doing specimen attribution work in #Bionomia (https://bionomia.net/) & I get a thrill seeing "R/V Tangaroa" (she isn't French!) My Dad, Andrew Leachman, captained that vessel "month on, month off". If I had a list of voyages he went on I'd be able to work out whether he & his crew helped collect this specimen.
