Bienvenidos a una nueva entrega de #KyuunAnaliza , edición #bioshock

Bioshock es de esos juegos impactantes que dejan una fuerte impresión en la mente de los jugadores.
Empezamos la aventura en un avión, donde un misterioso personaje nos narra sus esperanzas respecto a la grandeza de sus futuros actos. No sabemos su nombre ni su aspecto, y la manera de actuar de nuestro hombre misterioso depende exclusivamente de nosotros.
El avión tiene un accidente y aterrizamos en mitad del océano con tan sólo un solitario Faro para ampararnos. Curiosamente, bajo ese Faro se encuentra nuestro destino. Un sumergible que nos llevará a Rapture, la ciudad sin límites.
En cuanto pongamos un pie en la ciudad descubriremos que hay algo terriblemente mal. Podremos ver los vestigios de lo que un día fue una gloriosa y radiante ciudad, antaño floreciente paraíso bajo el mar que ahora decora la sangre y la destrucción causadas por los excesos de la humanidad, o mejor dicho, de aquellos que ostentan el poder sin medir sus propias acciones.
Nos desenvolveremos por un entorno fuertemente influenciado por el "steampunk" y por los años 40/50, con esa mezcla entre retro y futurista mientras las luces de neón alumbran nuestro camino.
Sabéis que adoro una buena ambientación, Y Bioshock no decepciona. Me debato entre la admiración por cada pequeño detalle y el estar sobrecogida por el aura de terror que inspira la misma ciudad.
La historia se divide en varias partes. Por un lado nuestro misterioso guía nos habla por la radio. Nos cuenta que quiere buscar a su mujer e hijo perdidos para poder escapar a la superficie, mientras descubrimos la historia de Andrew Ryan, el ADAM, una droga que todos los adictos buscan, pues es capaz de reconfigurar el ADN de las personas, y de las little Sisters y los Big Daddys.
Será nuestro trabajo salvar (o destruir) a las little sisters mientras tomamos decisiones sobre nosotros mismos, resolviendo muchos dilemas morales.
Esta es una historia sobre la identidad, la avaricia, los límites éticos y morales, y en general, una historia sobre la obsesión y la libertad del ser humano.
Es un juego que creo que todos deberían jugar y terminar alguna vez en la vida. Es de ese tipo de juegos que te hacen plantearte muchas cosas y te invita a cuestionarte absolutamente todo, acompañado de una gran banda sonora, ambientación exquisita y un gameplay dinámico y adictivo.

En general yo le doy un 10/10 ya que no se me ocurren fallos al respecto.

Found this #xbox 360 Elite 120G while digging through my collection of old stuff. It was the first thing me and my partner @quester bought when we moved together back in the days.

It's customised to feature our #xbox360 avatars. Microsoft service even returned us the replacement in the original shell when the first one RROD'ed.

A LOT of games were played on this thing, like #MassEffect, #GearsOfWar, #DragonAge, #GuitarHero, #Borderlands, #BlackOps, #XCom, #Bioshock and #Halo to name a few.

As my favourite video game says, aesthetics are a moral imperative.

From the moment he could understand directions, when making any request of my older son (born 2007) I’d add three little words… When I let him play Bioshock at 15, I was reading nearby and the payoff when he got to That Part was worth every moment of preparation… Like, as it sank in, he just started giggling and had to stop and ROFL.
