The @EU_Commission communication on the availability and affordability of fertilisers (published 9 November) makes really interesting reading, presenting guidance and actions on how to tackle the challenges that EU farmers and industry are facing – and the potential food security crisis that may follow.
#Biostimulants are explicitly mentioned because of the role they play in improving nutrient use efficiency, and therefore in reducing the amount of fertiliser needed.
