Remember when Republican Representative Tom Emmer wrote a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") asking them to stop investigating FTX and then tried to blame the SEC and its leadership for the FTXplosion?

Democratic darling of the left wing Ritchie Torres is now trying to run the same game, "opening an investigation" (with typos lol) of the SEC's "fundamental failure" to regulate FTX.
