Spotted this and another biplane flying low to spray crops near Marysville, CA.
Struggled to get focus. Was using a 55-300 Nikon APS-C kit lens. Despite my fat fingers on the dials, sharing bc they were still cool-looking planes. #biplanes #aviation #california #centralvalley

Santa Claus arrives in a biplane!

This newspaper clipping shows the American aviator Cecil Peoli landing his Baldwin biplane in Montreal’s Fletcher’s Field in 1913.
Tragically, Peoli had learned to fly only one year earlier but died in an aviation accident only 2 years later after his landing in Montreal.
