66 years of accumulating wisdom & I am still not finished.

I'm #Native & #Jewish. I'm outside the dominant white Christian European-American colonizer culture to a large degree. My 2nd class status is made apparent to me every day.

Still, by the time I was 30 years old, I was nearly fully assimilated. I was mostly erased with only token acknowledgement of my cultures.

The white Christian European-American colonizer culture is so strong and deeply embedded, even atheists and socialists are filled up with it over their heads.

You have to say yeah I'm racist, I'm an enslaver, I'm a colonizer, I benefit from the systems and I like it, before you can even begin to strip yourself and your life of these messed up ideologies.

Hive mind: Does anyone know if an umbrella term has emerged for #BIPOC and #PeopleOfColor who are on Mastodon? I've had some interesting discussions recently about parallels to #BlackMastodon for people of Asian descent (i.e.,#APIFedi vs. #AsianMastodon vs. #AAPIMastodon vs. #APIMastodon).
