There's a pair of Northern #Cardinals that work the #bird feeders in my yard. I wish i could get a photo of this, but no.

The female perches on the highest point of one pole, ignoring the food on her side, and watches the male collect seeds from the other feeder, about 15 yds away.

She watches intently, never looking away, like she's watching his back, like a bank #heist they meticulously planned at home.

I've named them #Bonnie and #Clyde.
