I now have enough native plants planted that I'm seeing hummingbirds in my yard daily rather than rarely. I am nervous about putting hummingbird feeders up since I've read plenty on how you can do more harm than good if they aren't disinfected/cleaned properly.

Mr Cardinal returned for another visit today.
We think he's the young male who visited all last Spring. Tho his feathers look kinda ruffled, his crown is no longer the floppy mohawk it was.
I'm pleasantly surprised that we are able to identify specific birds, not juat species but individuals.

Some master list compiled somewhere in alphabetical order that can be searched? This seems so necessary if we're not going to get full text search any time soon.
Sure, #bird #birds #birding #birder #birb are easy, but see how many it took to make sure a post gets seen to how many searches to find simple bird posts? Get into any more complex or vague subject and I don't even know where to start sometimes.
On multiple occasions, I've guessed at hashtags for a topic and gotten little or no response. I have no way to tell if that might be because it's being discussed under another hashtag or if it's just not something anyone cares to talk with me about. (Or maybe it's a limit of federation and low follower count and my post is just not propagating very far.)
