I forgot to share pics of two really cool flycatchers I observed last weekend at the Everglades NP. Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Tyrannus forficatus) and a subadult male Vermilion Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus obscurus) both uncommon/rare here in Florida

Recharging my creative juices in nature. Took a trip to SW Florida and I was able to take the best photo I have ever taken of a Loggerhead Shrike. These wonderful birds are famous for impaling their prey which often consists of insects and small vertebrates
