Belated #introduction

I work as a software developer for a large CADCAM company - more specifically the CAM side, to drive CNC machines. I mostly (but not exclusively) work in C++.

I live in the #Birmingham suburb of #Stirchley with my partner and our three #cats (Darwin, Towser and Maxwell).

These days I spend a lot of my time running along the canals of Birmingham. I love Cannon Hill #parkrun running it most weeks. I'm a run leader and coach for the #BirminghamSwifts LGBT+ running club.

Managed my second-best parkrun time today. 23:09 at Cannon Hill. Particularly pleased because I was at the #BirminghamSwifts Christmas party last night.
