So we've a hit-and-run retort thing going. :gentleblob: Sarcastic clapping and wikipedia link (deleted, reposted and again deleted too..)? Really?
"Sealioning is a type of trolling or harassment that consists of pursuing people with relentless requests for evidence, often tangential or previously addressed, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity"

---
You made some rather dramatic accusations against the #EuropeanUnion complete with hashtags (#racism #birthism #humanrights) and hours later I asked what *specifically* you meant by those accusations (as seen above).
Hours later yet that "open letter" of yours to #EU vanished, along with my (possibly unread - how would I know) query, but I was genuinely interested in the problems you raised about the EU border controls *so I asked again*. Once. Without reposting your original accusation, FWIW.
So I get a lesson about #sealioning.
"relentless requests..."
"often tangential or previously addressed..."
Talk about #badfaith. Maybe you're just having a bad day. In that case, hope it gets better...
(Posting this as a reply to my own toot; you seem keener on presuming and deleting than on responding. )

You deleted your somewhat provocative — or thought-provoking — "open letter" aimed at @EU_Commission without bothering to respond to genuine questions about it and that wiped out my post too... 🤨
The questions still stand:
re: accusations of #EuropeanUnion #racism / #racialprofiling / #discrimination / #birthism #humanrights etc.
Could you provide some specifics?
#1 Are there cases where non-EU parents should *or should not* have absolute right to enter the #EU automatically? Are there any potential reasons for denying such automatic entry?
#2 What *racial* profiling of non-EU entrants is taking place on the borders?
#3 What's the definition of "birthism" here that "should end in the EU"?

Wouldn't we all like free movement of all the peoples of the world, but as things still stand there are procedures and restrictions in place — in more or less *every* territory with self-determination that exists.

Dear @EU_Commission,
Non-EU citizen parents of EU citizens should have the right to enter the EU and visit their children just like EU-citizen parents of EU citizens do.
Also, it might be nice if you stopped racially profiling us EU citizens born in non-EU countries at your borders.
When do you plan on ending this birthism and two-tier citizenship?
(Not expecting a reply or for anyone there to even see this but, hey, airing it anyway because why not.)
