I've just tried Hyprland for a day and really liked the tiling.

The only thing that I'm not totally acclimatized to already is #Bismuth for #KWin but I'm learning.

I ran into a weird issue where the settings were showing up but the shortcuts weren't, but it started working after a proper restart or two, so we're off to the races now.

Now I just have to learn all of the available functions and memorize the shortcuts, and then I'll be good to go :P

Удивительно, кажется я, наконец, распробовал тайлинг в кедах.
Для этого потребовался ультраширокий монитор и некоторое время попользоваться встроенным в 5.27 тайлингом, который пока сыроват. Поставил Bismuth, работает шикарно.
Посмотрим, куда меня заведёт эта дорожка, надеюсь, не в тайлинговые менеджеры окон

Ieri ho riorganizzato il mio pannello di #kde #plasma e sono molto soddisfatto del risultato, poi per chi fosse interessato ad avere le funzioni di tiling per il windows manager consiglio di provare #bismuth (https://github.com/Bismuth-Forge/bismuth) che funziona veramente bene e si integra pure col gestore delle impostazioni di sistema. Con plasma 5.27 è stato introdotta una funzione nativa per una sorta di tiling ma ancora la trovo un po' acerba, sono comunque fiducioso che migliorerà.

#KDE tiling is kind of dead with #bismuth abasing its sail. Time to finally work on my #i3wm config + #polybar and having a useable #twm setup at home and at work.

It doesn't look like Plasma provided an easy migration method for 3rd party developers so the net-result is a loss of functionality for users :(
