@Bisq I cannot withdraw BTC form my #Bisq wallet. I resynced the SPV file 3 times. Still withdraw TX is never published. Using v1.9.8 on linux:

Is this a known issue? Can you help?

@DaemonFC I'm pretty shure this will be flexed only against small part-time traders as the big ones avoid centralized exchanges already.

But even in the times of #Bisq, #LocalMonero / #AgoraDesk and many more, there are still working avenues to crack down on #TaxEvasion and #fraud...

Was anyone actually affected by the #FTX thing?

Almost seems like one of those AI generated news stories to manipulate the price down.

Who cares about #exchanges, especially *that* exchange? But who still leaves money at exchanges, and when we have #bisq and trade in #BTC or Monero who uses exchanges.

We are willing to bet that not a single person on fedi was affected.

Remember: #privacy is a human right. Don't use CEX, don't use custodial wallet, avoid KYC. Use #Monero offline wallet, connect to your own node, use decentralized exchanges like #Bisq.

Today was a good day. I orangepilled two friends that i had been warming up for a while:

Friend A is into politics and while researching that topic, bumped into the fiat system. Which led him to discover BTC. I helped soft land him in BTC Land

Friend B is a finance guy. Luckily our friend Jeff Booth showed him why deflation and i just had to explain that deflation is Bitcoin.

Both have wallets set up and are learning how to buy via Bisq
