In late August, our #HumanRights Clinic at the HRREC, along with the Clinic at PUC-PR and the Universidade Federal do Paraná, filed a report to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights regarding the #BizHumanRights duties of private companies engaged in the firearms industry.
This is for an Advisory Opinion requested by Mexico to the Court. It's a chance to ground due diligence under the American Convention on Human Rights.

The Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (CORE) will investigate the possible use of #Uyghur forced labour by Nike Canada in its supply chain coming from Chinese companies.
The complaint was filed in June 2022 by 28 Canadian organizations.
